In 1987 Rafe lives a quiet life as a fisherman. His closest friend is his priest. He is a quiet man except for the inner conversations he has with himself. He is waiting for the right woman to come along so he can have the kind of life his friends have: a motor-home, a wife, kids and ultimately retirement. Just when he accepts his life is all it will ever be he meets Mauri . . .

This tale explores topics that most will experience at one time or another;  the death of a parent, feelings of inadequacy and a longing for completeness.  Some say this is a classic Buddhist Tale appropriate for the purpose of teaching, discussion and self understanding.
